ENGLISH FOLLOWS JAPANESE

　2024年3月2日（土）、日本社会事業大学（社大）とニューサウスウェールズ大学（NSW大）が第27回環太平洋社会福祉セミナーを共催し、「グローバル時代における日豪のソーシャルワーク実習教育に関する共同ワークショップ」を実施しました。セミナーのコーディネーターを、社大ではヴィラーグ・ヴィクトル博士（社会福祉学部准教授・学長室国際担当室長補佐）とNSW大ではマリー・ヒギンス博士（ソーシャルワーク課程主任講師・課程長・実習教育学術責任者）が務めました。
　

　セミナーには、合計316人が登録しました。そのうち、日本は82人で、オーストラリアは55人でした。主催両国を除いた上位5か国は、インド（42人）、フィリピン（23人）、インドネシア（10人）、カンボジア（7人）、ニュージーランド（6人）でした。その他、世界中の53か国から91人より申込がありました。

　4時間のワークショップは、日本語と英語の同時通訳付きで社大清瀬キャンパス、NSW大ケンジントン・キャンパス、オンラインのハイブリッドで開催されました。当日の参加者は、社大で20人、NSW大で15人、オンラインで154人、合計189人でした。オンラインでは、日本から69人、オーストラリアから22人が参加しました。その他の上位5か国は、フィリピン（20人）、インド（10人）、カンボジア（6人）、マレーシア（5人）、インドネシア（4人）でした。他、7か国より18人が参加しました。

　On March 2 (Sat) 2024, the Japan College of Social Work (JCSW) and the University of New South Wales (UNSW) co-hosted the 27th International Seminar on Social Welfare in Asia and the Pacific Rim, and organized the 'Joint Workshop on Australian and Japanese Social Work Field Education in a Global Era'. The role of seminar coordinators was fulfilled by Dr. Viktor Virag at JCSW (Associate Professor, Faculty of Social Welfare & Assistant for International Affairs, President's Office), and Dr. Maree Higgins at UNSW (Senior Lecturer, Social Work Program Director & Academic Lead of Field Education).

　We received a total of 316 registrations. 82 were from Japan and 55 from Australia. Apart from the two host countries, the top five were India (42), the Philippines (23), Indonesia (10), Cambodia (7), and New Zealand (6). Additionally, there were 91 applicants in 53 countries from all around the world.

　The four-hour workshop was held with Japanese and English simultaneous interpretation in a hybrid format at JCSW's Kiyose Campus, UNSW's Kensington Campus, and online. We had 20 participants at JCSW, 15 participants at UNSW, and 154 online participants, totaling 189. 69 of the online participants were from Japan and 22 from Australia. The other top five countries were the Philippines (20), India (10), Cambodia (6), Malaysia (5), and Indonesia (4). The remaining 18 were from 7 countries.
